This project is an excellent example of a large home, made simple thanks to technology. At over 7,900 sqft this new construction custom home built by Saltsman&Brenzel required an expansive system. Stalgrid was brought in for the full scope of this project: design, rough-in, installation, and programming. We have continued to support and upgrade this project since its inception in 2016- one of our first large projects. Being a uniquely modern home for the area, we took advantage of Savant keypads and J-Geiger custom shading working directly with the architect and interior designer. The north-facing open-concept windows required over a dozen 10ft shades, helping with the afternoon sun and heat generated. Simplicity is key here, having many summer guests. We installed touch panels, remotes, keypads, and remote app controls to solve this. Additionally creating lighting/climate control scenes for away and home, and notifications when guests arrive. Working with the client we programmed and engraved buttons on their keypads to trigger scenes for entertaining, leaving the home, and everything in-between.
